Four teenage boys who are related to each other and a fifteen-year-old girl are in custody on suspicion of the murder of a taxi driver at the end of March. A motive that is being investigated is that it would be about revenge from the girl suspected of murder, something like The Express reported on.
– It is an unusual case, says Moa Blomqvist, prosecutor.
The taxi driver was reported missing on March 24 and a week later he was found dead in an outdoor area outside Enköping. Four teenagers aged between 15 and 18 and a 15-year-old girl are now in custody on suspicion of murder. All deny any crime and according to the prosecutor it is an unusual case.
– They are very young and numerous. It sometimes occurs in gang crime, but these people are not known to the police until now, says the prosecutor.
The man is said to have been killed in the Hjälstaviken nature reserve sometime between March 24 and 28. He has not been convicted of serious violent crimes before, according to the prosecutor.
– It is strange and sad. And it happens in such an odd place, says a bird watcher at the site.
Found in nature reserve
The taxi driver’s identity is being withheld during the preliminary investigation, but the family said through their attorney that they are devastated by his death. The cause of death is still unclear, but according to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the man was found hanging in the nature reserve by a bird tower.
Another fifteen-year-old girl is suspected of abuse in a court case.
– She is suspected of having influenced witnesses in this murder case – to either withdraw their information or provide other information to the police, says prosecutor Moa Blomqvist.
One of the motives being investigated is that it would be about revenge from the fifteen-year-old girl, another is that it would have been a robbery gone wrong.
