Several injured in attack on Tel Aviv

A projectile fired from Yemen has struck the Tel Aviv area in central Israel, according to the Israeli military.

14 people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries, reports Haaretz with reference to emergency services.

It is unclear what kind of projectile it is, the military states that attempts to shoot it down failed.

The Iranian-backed Huthi movement in Yemen has attacked Israel several times in the past with robots and drones. Israel has previously responded to the attacks with its own strikes against targets in Yemen.

Man dead after industrial fire outside Skövde

A man in his 50s has died after a fire in an industrial premises in Skultorp outside Skövde.
