(Finance) – After a first tranche of funding obtained in June 2022 of 200 thousand euros, Restworld announced the closure of a new round of financing equal to 300 thousand euros. It is a startup – founded in 2020 by a team of under 30 occupational psychologists and engineers – which aims to become the meeting point for those who work in the catering, tourism and hospitality sectorshelping them retrain their professions, ensuring fair contracts and optimal solutions for both parties.
The round calls the entry of important players of the Italian panorama of the Horeca, startup and entrepreneurial sector, such as Startup Wise Guys, Bakeca.it and Intervieweb, as well as various business angels.
The capital injection will allow Restworld to develop a new section of the platformrepresented by a map where each job offer will be visually organized within a geographical map and will present a 100% transparent job description, where the salary will always be explicit and the description of the company always updated.
“We are convinced that the Horeca sector cannot survive until the way of thinking and the culture of the entrepreneurs themselves changes – commented Luca Lotterio, CEO and co-founder – Those who work in the Horeca sector leave it shortly after guilt of realities that legitimize illegal work and exploitation: with Restworld we want to shed light on all the realities that work ethicallyin order to restore value to all professions, ensuring transparency and constant support”.
