In China, the authorities are now easing the strict covid-related regulations that have prevented residents from moving freely, working and meeting for three years.
It happens a week after people protested openly against the system, which meant, among other things, that people were regularly locked in their homes.
But according to foreign journalists, protesting people who also shout slogans against the Communist Party are met by riot-equipped police.
At the same time, the ruling Communist Party is introducing more severe censorship, according to documents from China’s Cyber Authority leaked via Twitter.
