Restaurateurs in Idre are happy that the permit for dancing is scrapped

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

The permit has been required at dance events, such as at nightclubs. But it has been unclear what applies to, for example, troubadour evenings where dancing is not the focus.

– After all, we are involved in activities that have alcohol. If the troubadour then plays a good song and the guest gets up? Then we don’t know what to do – should we tell the guest? Now it will probably be clearer, says Fari Ceken.

Simplify for the restaurants

It takes a lot of time for the applications, says Fari Ceken, and also for responding to referrals from the police, municipality and emergency services. He does not yet know what it will be like after July 1 this year, when the law on the permit is scheduled to expire.

– When you apply for the permit, the police today can add requirements for guards, there can be up to seven, so we’ll see how that turns out. But it simplifies a lot for us that the permit is removed, says Fari Ceken.
