The tour and restaurant boat M/S Ådalen III started taking in water on Thursday evening after running aground in Norafjärden southeast of Kramfors.
– It’s a smaller passenger boat that has hit something and touched so it’s taking in water, says Joanna Paraiso at the Maritime and Air Rescue Centre.
At half past ten the drama was over.
– The pumps on the boat work well because the water level in the boat has dropped, says Jonas Franzén at the Maritime and Air Rescue Centre.
The boat must make its way to nearby Gustavsvik under its own power.
Roughly 140 people are on board the boat. There are no reports of anyone being injured.
