In view of numerous challenges to his appointment to the government, Roch Donatien Nagalo has decided to give up his post as Minister of Industrial Development and Trade.
He rejects all the charges brought against him, and invites his detractors to follow the legal route to settle any dispute if there is one. The resigning minister explains that his act is intended to give the government every chance to work in a serene and peaceful climate.

Some associations of traders criticized Roch Donatien Nagalo for his management of the national trade union of Burkina traders, of which he was the general secretary. His detractors accuse him of embezzlement with certain traders, especially women in town and country markets.
In an interview, the head of government argued that there was nothing reproachable to the Minister of Commerce after the investigations. Finally, he will not even have had time to be installed at the Ministry of Commerce.
