Residential building shelled in Norrköping

Several shots have been fired at a gate in an apartment building in Norrköping. The police were alerted at 10pm on Good Friday after two loud bangs had been heard in the Hageby district.

– On site, the police made findings that indicate that a sharp shooting took place, but no injured person has been found and no arrests have been made either, says Linus Maxe, regional police officer on duty.

The police have now cordoned off an area around the property and are conducting witness interviews and a technical investigation of the crime scene. The crime classification is gross violation of the Weapons Act and gross unlawful threat.
