Resident Evil scratches Netflix negative record just a week after

Many horror fans are looking forward to the Resident Evil series on Netflix. Yet barely a week after launch on July 14, 2022 many are extremely disappointed. And rate the horror adventure so low that it is now heading for a negative record.

Horror Frustration: Resident Evil is one of the most disappointing Netflix series of all time

As analyzed by NME, the series has a low 26 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, that is still high compared to the average of 3.7 points on IMDb. This makes it one of the lowest rated series in the online database.

Maybe the horror series didn’t deserve the fan hate. But the fact is that many community members had hoped for something else. Many complain a lack of horror and too much teen drama in the new Netflix adventure.

The concept of the series with two time levels and a new perspective on cult villain Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick) sounds quite exciting on paper. Maybe just have the right zombies were missing.
