The new ring of this series will be the Resident Evil: Death Island movie. The new movie was announced along with its first video.
Resident Evil: Death Island teaser trailer released
Resident Evil: Death Island movie will be released in the summer of 2023, although the exact date is not given. It was stated that the movie will feature characters such as Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield, which we also remember from the game series. The movie will be a sequel to the previously released Resident Evil: Vendetta movie.
When we look at the first teaser video of the movie, we see that most of the events will take place on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco. The first video and official description of the movie is as follows;
DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy, kidnapped Dr. While on a mission to rescue Antonio Taylor, a mysterious woman stops him from pursuing him. Meanwhile, BSAA agent Chris Redfield investigates an unexplained zombie outbreak in San Francisco. The only thing the victims have in common is that they recently visited Alcatraz Island. Following this lead, Chris and his crew travel to the island where a new horror awaits them.
