The alarm about the shooting came in at six thirty on Monday morning. A 45-year-old man was shot just outside an apartment building and later died of his injuries.
No one has yet been arrested as a suspect in the shooting, which is being investigated as a suspected murder.
Second shooting in a short time
The shooting in Bredäng was the second in a short time in the Stockholm area. During Sunday evening, a man was shot in Flemingsberg in Huddinge. According to information to SVT, a relative of that man is a member of a criminal gang.
