After the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the prices of grain have skyrocketed and large parts of the world have found it difficult to buy food. According to researchers, however, the price increases are disproportionately large, since production in Ukraine is still relatively limited. – It should not result in a price increase of more than 5-10 percent, depending on which region you live in, but we have seen that prices have skyrocketed by between 30-40 percent, says Torbjörn Jansson, docent in economics.
