Rescue teams and medical aid are pouring into Turkey

The death toll from the earthquake disaster in Syria and Turkey is now over 33,000.

According to official data from Turkey, 29,600 people have been found dead. In Syria, a civil rescue organization states that 3,600 have died so far. In Turkey, the number of injured was 80,000.

Rescue teams from all over the world are continuously arriving in the area.. Rescue teams also come from Greece, with which Turkey has long been in conflict. Turkey’s foreign minister today thanked his Greek counterpart and the Greek rescue chief.
