    A group of Republicans has proposed that billionaire Elon Musk should replace Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House of Representatives, one chamber of the US Congress, writes Newsweek.

    In the United States, you do not have to be elected to Congress to become speaker, although the role has always gone to someone with a mandate there, according to the newspaper.

    Among those who have taken up the proposal are Senators Mike Lee and Rand Paul, as well as Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green.

    The US House of Representatives has voted against a budget settlement overnight Friday that would stop a shutdown of federal institutions.

    The proposal was advanced by Republican Speaker Mike Johnson and his party colleagues after President-elect Donald Trump refused to accept another proposed deal between Republicans and Democrats.

    Two thirds of the members had to say yes, instead the no side won by 235-174.

    The police describe the man’s behavior on their website as “exceptionally inappropriate”.

    The man drove towards the scene of the accident at a very high speed and did not stop even though the police signaled him.

    When they stopped the man’s car, he behaved so badly that they “had to subdue him with coercive means”.

    Emergency services are on site with eleven units.

    The fire started in a boiler room and hydral oil is said to have leaked out, says Lind.

    – At the moment, we do not have control over the fire, but we are working to limit it.

    Smoke divers will now investigate the building. Extinguishing work is ongoing.

    A man has been found injured in central Norrköping.

    According to information to Aftonbladet, the man has been shot.

    The alarm came in at 8:30 p.m.

    The police are tight-lipped about the incident, but have confirmed that a man has been taken to hospital by ambulance.

    – We are there with large resources and have cordoned off the area. It is an indoor event. We will interrogate several people and are looking for one or more perpetrators, says police spokesperson Mats Pettersson.

    Both have been taken to hospital.

    It is a single accident. According to the police, the roadway at the scene is very slippery, but exactly how the accident happened is unclear.
