The Glasgow Rangers, represented by Finnish national team player Glen Kamara, advanced to the semi-finals of the European Football League on Thursday.
Glasgow Rangers lost to the Red Star of Belgrade, Crvena Zvezda, 1-2 in the away quarter-second. However, the 3-0 home win in the opening section took the Rangers to the next with a combined score of 4–2.
Kamara played the entire match on Thursday. In the extra time, the home team was awarded a penalty for Kamara El Fardou Ben Nabouhane scored a 2-1 goal.
Finnish national team goalkeeper Lukas Hradeckyn Bayer Leverkusen’s contract ended in the quarter-finals. At home, Leverkusen lost 0–1 to Atalanta and dropped 2–4 with a goal. Hradecky used to play on Leverkusen’s goal.
The Spanish giant Barcelona also advanced, winning the Galatasaray 2-1 in the away team and reaching the semi-finals with the same overall result. For Portugal’s Braga, a 1-1 away match was enough against Monaco, and the rest would be 3-1 with goals.
