One in five reports of crimes in close relationships is dismissed, which is now receiving criticism from several quarters.
TV4 Nyheterna reported on Monday about “Lisa”, whose report was left lying around for so long that the case was time-barred.
Now the Minister of Justice Morgan Johansson is also criticizing the handling and believes that both the prosecution authorities and the police have been given opportunities to avoid reports of violence in close relationships ending up in the middle of nowhere.
– They have a mission from several years ago to be able to prioritize these cases, says Johansson to TV4 Nyheterna.
