Report: U.S. nuclear power construction stalls | News in brief

The United States is about 15 years behind China in the development of nuclear power, according to a report published on Monday.

A report by the American Technology & Innovation Foundation institute points out that the completion time for a nuclear power plant in China is about 7 years – clearly less than elsewhere.

The United States has the most nuclear power plants in the world, but the production of new power plants has declined.

There are no facilities under construction and the graduates have paid more than planned and have been late.
