Elon Musk threatens all federal public employees in the United States with fired unless they respond to an email where they are required to answer what they have achieved in the past week.
The threat comes via a post on X, where the tech billionaire and Trump adviser write that the arrangement “is in line with President Trump’s order” to “more aggressively” capture public spending.
Exactly how much employees must have done, or when they must have answered is not clear in the post.
Musk leads President Donald Trump’s White House-Initiative Dogge (Department of Government Efficiency), which works with government efficiency and savings.
Musk’s progress in the state apparatus has aroused strong reactions in the United States and has resulted in demonstrations the country over.
Since Donald Trump took over as president, a long number of savings packages have been presented, and tens of thousands have been terminated.
Last Friday, the Ministry of Defense announced that they will start with five percent of civil employees in the coming week.
