The first Repair Café was held in Amsterdam in 2009, and since then it can also be found in several places in Utrecht. You can also visit Nieuwegein, Oudewater and Maarssen. In addition to helping neighbors, Kees also hopes to bond with neighbors: “I have lived here for about 3.5 years. It is also difficult to bond because of corona. If we had had children growing up, you could still make contact in the schoolyard, but the children have already left home. This is also a way for me to get to know even more people in Vreeland.”
