Near the town of Ked Bardu in Diablo 4, you will find a side quest called Reject the Mother. In this guide there is location and solution.
How do I get the Mother’s Renunciation quest? To get the side quest, you must first find a note. This is in the Tusmaa Rift southeast of the waypoint “Ked Bardu” between smaller rocks and some opponents.
Once you click and read the note, you will be instructed to make your way to the statue and renounce Lilith at her secret shrine. The statue of Lilith is now marked with a small blue circle.
You can’t miss the statue as your quest marker will lead you into a cave where it is surrounded by candles and sculptures.
How do I solve the Mother’s Renunciation quest? To complete the quest, you must use an emote similar to the quest “The Ancient Traditions”.
Here you have to stand in front of the statue and perform the “No” emote. However, this emote is not in your emote wheel by default. Learn how to customize your bike below.
How to use and switch emotes? Here are the buttons for the mouse, keyboard and controller:
While in the Emote menu, press Triangle or Y on your controller, or use your mouse to select Adjust. In this menu you can exchange your emotes:
What do emotes do? With the help of emotes it is possible to communicate with other players in Diablo 4. In addition, you can interact with various shrines to receive certain bonuses.
If you have any questions about the emotes or the quest, leave a comment. We are also open to ideas for additional guides.
By the way, you can also use your emote wheel to get out of a dungeon quickly.
