Today, Monday August 15, feast of the Assumption, millions of Catholics around the world celebrate Mary, the mother of Christ. At Notre-Dame de Paris, no mass can yet be celebrated, due to the reconstruction work which has been going on for 3 years now. Jean-François Cabestan, architectural historian, heritage architect and teacher at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, gives an update on this work of extraordinary magnitude.
