Electoral Compass: Utrecht divided over windmills
More wind turbines need to be built on land is one of the statements in the Electoral Compass. Utrecht residents are divided about that statement. A minority (36 percent) in our province agrees with that statement. About the same number of Utrecht residents disagree (39 percent). The rest are neutral or don’t know.
Striking: In the age category 18-34, almost half (46 percent) of Utrecht residents are in favor of more onshore wind turbines. This is only 29 percent of Utrecht’s over-65s.
