VIANEN – The removal of the Lekbrug will cost 2.4 million euros more, because the first attempt to remove the bridge failed. The extra costs come on top of the 7 million euros for the total removal project. Rijkswaterstaat announced this after questions from RTV Utrecht. “It sucks, but it is also part of this kind of work,” says Sascha Oskam, environment manager at Rijkswaterstaat.
