Remote work contributed to Katarina changing jobs in Umeå: “The cup ran over”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

When the Public Health Authority again approved work on site, Katarina Lindberg would return to work. But then many of the colleagues chose to stay at home. When Katarina came back to the office, the working climate had changed.

– About seventy-five percent of my colleagues chose to stay at home in their villas, and not everyone has the opportunity to do that, says Katarina Lindberg.

Those who chose to stay at home were the colleagues who worked the longest and those whom Katarina missed during the pandemic. As remote work continued, cohesion in the group disappeared.

– Not being asked how the day was or how the evening was, then you miss the interpersonal aspect, says Katarina Lindberg.
