Remnant 2: the game finally has a release date!

Remnant 2 the game finally has a release date

Remnant From the Ashes has established itself as an excellent RPG throughout its existence, what could be more logical for Gunfire Games than to announce the release date of its sequel: Remnant 2.

Acclaimed for its tense gameplay, uncompromising boss battles, and deeply mysterious universe, Remnant from the Ashes has left its mark on the souls-like RPG genre. Immersed in a unique dark fantasy universe, although a little gray at times, this original creation from Gunfire Games has enjoyed deserved success, pushing the studio to develop the sequel to this respectable opus under the name Remnant 2. This new cooperative RPG was presented to us during the Game Awards 2022 through a trailer as impressive as it is satisfying, before making a new appearance six months later at the Summer Game Fest 2023. With the added bonus of a release date.

Remnant 2 presents itself as the direct sequel to Remnant from the Ashes. It is a third-person role-playing game that combines action and exploration with dynamic combat that is both complicated and rewarding. Known for its extremely difficult bosses, the series intends to ride on the success of its elder while developing its mystical and prolific universe. The game is entirely doable solo and also allows you to host two friends in co-op mode. The game includes ranged and melee combat elements in a hybrid and nervous combat that made the success of its first opus. This sequel also plans to integrate different character archetypes and skill trees to unlock allowing great replayability, and will also be based on the principles of crafting and loot, as well as the procedural generation of levels and dungeons.

The development of Remnant 2 is almost complete! At least that’s what Gunfire Games studios tell us by offering us a release date for July 25th. Something to satisfy all souls-like lovers who will finally have a good reason to avoid the sun’s rays this summer. A release to watch absolutely on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
