Remnant 2 congratulates Baldur’s Gate 3 on the absurdly good start on Steam, makes the best possible meme about it

Baldur’s Gate 3 is not a day old and already a successful game on Steam. The developers of Remnant 2 didn’t let that go by and congratulated Larian Studios on their success with a meme that you won’t soon forget.

Why does Remnant 2 congratulate? Gunfire Games’ new Souls like “Remnant 2” was released on July 25th for PS5, Xbox and PC (Steam). With 110,756 players at its peak, the game even beat its predecessor and garnered over double the number of players. A strong start for the game, which is considered an insider tip, and which even CS:GO was able to knock off its throne for a short time.

However, now that Baldur’s Gate 3 has been released, Remnant 2’s player numbers are gradually dwindling and BG3’s are increasing. Gunfire Games is now celebrating this successful start with a new disturbing meme from the D&D player community.

Strong start on Steam

What is this meme? The Remnant 2 – Europe Twitter account tweeted a well-known bear scene from a Baldur’s Gate 3 trailer. In this scene, a visibly naked man sits with his legs spread as a knowing-eyed bear approaches and looks at the man. Now you can imagine what would have followed.

Also in the image, the man has been tagged with the Remnant 2 icon, while the bear has the Baldur’s Gate 3 icon. The developers wrote “we get it” as the title of the tweet, something like “we got it”. The meme basically shows that Remnant 2 has understood that it is now Baldur’s Gate 3’s turn to bask in the glory.

How successful is Baldur’s Gate 3? Larian Studios’ D&D game got off to a stronger start than Remnant 2. At its peak, 471,897 players gathered to play the game on Steam. A total of 480,000 interested fans tuned in to Twitch to watch other streamers.

The rush was so great that both platforms had to struggle with problems. If that wasn’t enough, the game also catapulted itself into the top 100 best-selling titles by total revenue on Steam.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has hit the ground running in gaming so far, but not every platform can benefit from this title. PS5 and Xbox unfortunately have to be patient a little longer.
