Rishi Sunak will go down in British history if he stands as a candidate in the elections. As will be remembered, Barack Obama became the first black leader in the history of the White House as the US president in 2009. If Rishi Sunak wins the election, he will become the first prime minister of Indian descent to be elected in British history.

Born in England to an Indian family, Rishi Sunak is a Stanford graduate. Sunak, who married the daughter of the Murty family, the daughter of one of the richest families in India, in 2009, became a member of parliament in 2015 for the first time. Sunak, who was among the names supporting Bretix, also supported the idea of leaving the EU put forward by Johnson.
LOSE BY 21 THOUSAND VOTES
Sunak, who became the UK’s Finance Minister in February 2020, missed the prime ministership by getting about 21,000 fewer votes when he faced Liz Truss. Missing the leadership race within the party, Sunak is very enthusiastic for the prime minister’s seat!
