Butter is a product that almost all of us have in our fridges. On toast or in the kitchen, it is widely consumed in homes, by young and old! Be careful, however, not to consume these butters in particular because they are subject to a recall.
This is a new product recall that has just been announced. These are President semi-salted and Noisetlait butters in wafers, in 500 gram format. Indeed, they would be likely to contain metallic foreign bodies, it is therefore strongly recommended not to consume these products.
What are the references of these products?
The semi-salted butters in question are both produced by the Lactalis company, under the President and Noisetlait brands. These are maxi format pads of 500 grams, sold with the following references:
- For the butter President
GTIN: 3155251212980
Batch: 294A
Date of minimum durability: 30/12/2022
Health mark: FR35239005CE
- For the Noisetlait butter
GTIN: 31555250003930
Batch: 294A
Use-by date 06/01/2023
Health mark: FR 35239005 CE
President butter was marketed from October 27 to October 31, 2022 in Intermarché stores in the departments of Eure (27) and Morbihan (56).
Noisetlait butter was sold in Intermarché stores in the departments of Eure (27), Ille-et-Vilaine (35), Morbihan (56) and Pas-de-Calais (62) from October 26 to 31, 2022.
These products are therefore no longer consumable due to the “risk of the presence of metallic foreign bodies”.
What if you bought these products?
The action to take, if you have bought these butters, is to stop consuming them and to destroy them.
To be reimbursed, you can reach the consumer service number of the Lactalis company which produces them on 08 00 12 01 20, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the call is free. The recall procedure will take place until 30 December.
