Remedy is focused on Alan Wake 2

Remedy announced that it focused on Alan Wake 2 and shared some information about the status of current projects with the players.

Remedy company is one of the teams that make few but essential games. Despite this, the company has made an important expansion in the last period and started to progress four or five projects in parallel. Here, the company made some statements about these projects, especially the highly anticipated Alan Wake 2, and shared the current situation.

Remedy starts focusing on Alan Wake 2

First of all, it was announced that the company has shifted most of its workload to Alan Wake 2. In other words, this game is at the forefront of the projects that the whole team is currently working on. Although there is no clear information about the release date, Remedy CEO Tero Virtala has renewed that the game will be released in 2023.

Apart from the Alan Wake 2 project, there are also two new Control games that the company is working on. These two projects, which we can consider as the side stories of the main game, are named Codename Condor and Codename heron. Codenamed Condor, the game will have 4-player co-op dynamics and will be in the PvE type. The game codenamed Heron, on the other hand, is at a very early stage, but it has been stated that the company will have a bigger budget game in the Control universe.

Remedy is also working with Tencent on the F2P genre Vanduard. There are not many details about the project, which was announced last December. Finally, it was announced that the Max Payne 1 and 2 Remake project was done together with the Rockstar team. It is also stated that this project was developed by a small team and uses the Alan Wake 2 and Control graphics engine.
