The Ukrainian Parliament passed the law banning the use of the Z and V symbols used by the Russian military.
According to the statement on the official website of the ruling Servant of the People’s Party in Ukraine, Russia was recognized as a “terrorist country” under the law passed by the Ukrainian Parliament’s deputies on April 1.
The use of Z and V symbols, which have become the symbols of the Russian army attacking Ukraine, is also prohibited with the adopted law.
Nikita Poturayev, one of the Ukrainian deputies who prepared the law in question, argued that the propaganda of the act of aggression against his country is completely prohibited.
During the Russia-Ukraine War, the letters Z and V on Russian tanks and armored vehicles attracted attention.
