The 19-year-old disappeared while on holiday in Tenerife on 17 June. Slater missed the bus back to his accommodation and decided to walk back – a walk of between ten and eleven hours in rainy terrain.
Now everything indicates that his body has been found.
May have had an accident
A body has reportedly been found at the site where Jay Slater disappeared, according to Reuters. According to Spanish authorities, his clothes were found next to the body.
“The initial investigations show that he may have had an accident in the inaccessible area where he was found,” said local police, according to Sky News.
“Everything indicates that it could be the young British man”.
The body has been taken care of and now they are waiting for the autopsy before the identity can be established.
