The release of ARK 2
When is the release? ARK 2 will be released at the end of 2024. This was announced by developer and publisher Studio Wildcard at the reveal of the ARK roadmap on March 31, 2023 (via survivetheark.com).
The release originally planned for 2022 was already postponed for the first time at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase on June 12, 2022. The survival title should appear as a result of the first postponement in the first half of 2023, but cannot meet the targeted release period.
Instead of ARK 2, “ARK: Survival Ascended” will be released in August 2023, a next-gen remeaster of ARK: Survival Evolved on Unreal Engine 5.
What do we know about the release? ARK 2 will be available in Early Access on Steam and in Game Preview on Xbox.

Is ARK 2 coming to PS4 and PS5? ARK 2 is a console exclusive for Xbox Series X|S and PC. A release for PS4, PS5 or Xbox One has not yet been announced.
The official announcement that ARK 2 will be released on consoles exclusively for Xbox Series X|S was announced by Microsoft in a detailed statement on Xbox.com.
At the beginning of June 2022, there was a rumor that ARK 2 would also appear on the PS5. However, this statement has not been officially confirmed. The rumor was based on a video by an independent YouTuber.
