There is now apparently a specific release date for Diablo 4. A new leak reveals details about the release and the download size.
When is Diablo 4 coming out? Diablo 4 is scheduled to be released on June 5th, 2023 – at least when it comes to a new leak from the dataminer “Aggiornamenti Lumia”.
The dataminer shared the date and the possible download size of the game via its Twitter account. This should include 80 GB in the Xbox store.
In addition, Aggiornamenti Lumia says that there will be a standard edition, a digital deluxe edition and an ultimate edition.
How likely is the date? The well-known gaming insider Tom Henderson also took up the leak and explains that Aggiornamenti Lumia has been able to reliably uncover data from the Microsoft Store in the past (via Inside Gaming).
In addition, his “Inside Gaming” page also found out the June release period independently of the leak, but was not able to name a specific date.
WindowsCentral had previously spoken of a possible release in April 2023, but at the beginning of December put it into perspective that this was only the earliest point of a possible release window that would end in June.
A release of Diablo 4 in June 2023 seems more and more likely.
When is the official release date for Diablo 4?
Official information about the release of Diablo 4 from the developers is not yet available. Most recently, however, eyes were directed towards the Game Awards: According to another leak, Diablo 4 should be represented there with an announcement.
This should apparently include the official release date and the start of the pre-sale. Whether it will actually happen should be clear at the latest at the event. The Game Awards will take place on the night of December 8th to 9th.
