The release date of technology giant Intel’s highly anticipated new generation graphics cards, Battlemage, has been leaked.
According to VideoCardz, Intel’s first new generation GPUs will be released on December 12. This date confirms recent rumors of a launch before the end of the year. According to Videocardz’s report, Intel Battlemage’s announcement will take place on December 3. The first launch and first reviews of the Limited Edition Special Edition GPU will be on December 12.
What are the Release Date and Features of Intel Battlemage Cards?
As for the graphics cards to be released, these are expected to be Intel Arc B580 and B570 in the first place. Over the last few weeks, Intel Arc B580 specifications have been leaked regularly through various means. The GPU is expected to feature 20 Xe2 cores clocked at 2.8GHz and 12GB GDDR6 VRAM. On the other hand, no features of the Arc B570 are known other than its 18 Xe2 core count.
While the Arc B580 and B570 are expected to be Intel’s mid-range offerings this generation, the company has yet to mention a lower- or higher-end model. If they exist, they could be revealed either during the December 3 announcement or in a separate trailer entirely.
- The expected technical specifications of Intel Arc B580 are as follows:
- GPU: Battlemage BGM-G21
- GPU Clock Speed: 2.8GHz
- Xe-Nuclei: 20 Xe2
- Processing Units: 160
- Memory: 12GB GDDR6
- Memory Bus: 192-bit
- Memory Speed: 19 Gbps
- Memory Bandwidth: 456 GB/s
