Following in the footsteps of a cult series is never easy. However, How I Met Your Father has already achieved surprising popularity as a spin-off of How I Met Your Mother. So far, the series in Germany could only be seen with a Disney + subscription. That has now changed: ProSieben will soon bring the cult successor to TV.
ProSieben broadcasts HIMYM series How I Met Your Father in prime time
This emerges from an official press release from the broadcaster. As a result, ProSieben will be the first season of How I Met Your Father broadcast every Monday at 8:15 p.m. from February 13, 2023. The episodes are also available on the Joyn * streaming service one week before the date. The first season consists of 10 episodes.
The station’s strategy is only logical, after all, How I Met Your Mother has been broadcasting ProSieben since it started in Germany in 2008 regular high quotas. Fans of the spin-off can count on a guaranteed slot for Season 2 as well, as long as How I Met Your Father even remotely repeats the success of its predecessor.
When is How I Met Your Father Season 2 coming to Germany?
Season 2 of How I Met Your Father is out now January 24, 2023 started with the US streamer Hulu. A timely release on Disney + is expected, but not yet confirmed. It is not yet possible to estimate when the second season will start on TV.
