Eugene/Amersfoort – Athlete Femke Bol from Amersfoort failed to reach the final of the 4×400 meters at the World Athletics Championships in the United States. The relay team, in which Hanneke Oosterwegel, Lieke Klaver and Cathelijn Peeters also ran, crossed the finish line in third place in Eugene, but was subsequently disqualified due to a failed substitution.
