Regional integration and security issues dominated discussions at the Libreville

The Libreville summit mobilized, on Saturday July 1, eight of the eleven heads of state of Central Africa. The notable absentees at the Libreville meeting were Paul Kagame from Rwanda, Paul Biya from Cameroon and Evariste Ndayishimiye from Burundi. In addition to regional integration issues, security issues dominated the Libreville summit.
