The number of reported cases of the virus-based tick-borne disease TBE has increased sharply. And since 2013 almost tripled. In 2022, 29 cases were reported of the disease in Västmanland.
The county is a high-risk area. In an attempt to curb the increased number of infected people, the Västmanland region is now going out and informing about how important it is to get vaccinated.
