Region Sörmland shortened the waiting times for care – gets seven million

The money is paid based on fulfilled performance requirements during the period January to June of the year. Among other things, it is about requirements to shorten their waiting times in comparison with the same months in 2022.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Swedish regions will receive over SEK 625 million, of which Sörmland will receive just over SEK seven million. In May 2022, 67 percent of those who sought care in Sörmland received a medical assessment within three days, according to figures from Sweden’s municipalities and regions. During the same month this year, the corresponding proportion was 72 percent.
