The region will therefore send out information on where to get vaccinated to everyone who is advised to do so.
– Letters have gone out to everyone over the age of 65 that they can come in and book appointments. Next week, letters will go out to everyone in the risk group, says Kerstin Jonsson, vaccine coordinator at Region Östergötland.
One dose is enough
According to the Public Health Agency’s new advice, one dose of the covid-19 vaccine is enough to get basic protection if you have never taken the vaccine before. Previously, three doses were needed.
