According to the region, it has, among other things, been used in surgery and surgery for emergency interventions, emergency transport and emergency X-ray work, in emergency departments and in ambulance healthcare for vacancies and on-call work.
So-called protective work may be used in emergency situations when there is danger to patients. It must be negotiated with the Healthcare Association.
The region has been informed during the afternoon that the Vårdförbundet has called for dispute negotiations in five cases where they believe that the region used protective work incorrectly.
The conflict affects summer recruitment
In addition to the overtime blockade, there is also a blockade against new hires. It currently prevents Region Jönköping from recruiting summer temps within certain professional categories.
– This is of course something that we are thinking about how to deal with and we don’t know how long the conflict will last or develop, says Patrick Nzamba.
