SMHI is once again warning of extremely high water flows in several parts of the country – now from midnight on Tuesday until midnight on Thursday.
Red warning, the highest on the scale, applies in eastern and northern Västergötland, Dalsland, southern Värmland, western Småland and western Närke.
According to SMHI, the large amounts of rain can lead to flows that occur on average every 50 years or less frequently.
A red warning means that there may be great danger to the public and very serious consequences for society.
