SMHI warns of extremely high flows in several parts of the country from midnight on Monday.
Red warning, the highest on the scale, applies in Värmland, Västra Götaland, Jönköping and Örebro counties.
According to SMHI, the expected rain can lead to flows that occur on average every 50 years or less frequently for Värmland and Västra Götaland.
A red warning means that there may be great danger to the public and very serious consequences for society.
