Red Dead Redemption the first game finally announced on PC

Demanded by fans for years, the PC version of the first Red Dead Redemption will finally be released in a few days.

A true monument of Video Games, Red Dead Redemption celebrated its 14th anniversary this year. After having enjoyed the heyday of the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360, the legendary title from Rockstar Games will finally land on PC with an official port coming from Tuesday October 29, 2024. This version will also include several new features, particularly in terms of graphics and resolution.

It is on its official social networks that the Rockstar Games studio announced the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption on PC. With a trailer dedicated to the port, the studio also announces the addition of native 4K resolution and support for Ultra-wide and Super Ultra-wide PC screens. This port will be fully compatible with the keyboard/mouse combo, but also with the DLSS 3.7 display technology of Nvidia graphics cards and FSR 3.0 of AMD cards.

Red Dead Redemption on PC will also benefit from its “Undead Nightmare” DLC, initially released a few months after the release of the original opus. This additional content allows you to rediscover the universe of Red Dead Redemption after a virus transforms the inhabitants into zombies.

Red Dead Redemption will be available on PC via the Rockstar Store, Steam and Epic Games platforms starting Tuesday, October 29. The title is also still available on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox.
