“It is good news that after a number of successful local searches, we can now set this up nationally together with the police,” says Heleen van den Berg, acting director of National Aid of the Red Cross. “It is important that a search is started quickly to increase the chance of success. We expect to have search teams operational throughout the Netherlands in the course of 2024.”
