A bunch of items, mats and runes with one click

What gifts will I receive? At the “Midwinter Protection” statue in Kyovashad you can pick up a gift once per account in Diablo 4 during the event period. The gift includes a bunch of loot that you will receive as soon as you click on the statue.

The loot includes, among other things:

  • Seals for Nightmare Dungeons
  • The event elixir “Gileon’s Brew”, which gives you a bonus to your damage, XP and drops from Mats
  • Magical, rare, legendary and large midwinter bags with items, runes, compasses for the infernal hordes, mats, gold and tributes
  • A pile of Mats – including Iron Chunks, Angel’s Breath and Forgotten Souls
  • This is what the “Red Cloaked Terror” brings: The Red Cloaked Dread is part of the Midwinter event. The boss can randomly spawn in the place of a Hellblood in the Helltide. He also surprises you in the hordes of hell and in dungeons. If you defeat him, you will receive Embers, “Burning Aether” and the elixir “Gileon’s Brew”. The elixir increases your damage, XP and drops from herbs and crafting mats for 30 minutes.

The legendary elixir “Gileon’s Brew” in Diablo 4.

This is why the drops are particularly worthwhile: You can use the loot to equip your player characters in Diablo 4. Even though the gift is only available once per account, you can use the mats, runes, tributes and also some items for all characters that you create on the realm.

You can also use Gileon’s Brew and the tributes for multiple player characters and thus increase your loot drops. The tributes can be sacrificed in the lower city of Kurast to increase the chance of certain drops – such as runes or uniques.

The Midwinter Bags contain some very useful items such as Uniques and legendary and unique ancestral items. The ancestral items – or “bequeathed” items – have been dropping less frequently since Season 6 and are quite sought after. Bequeathed items have larger affixes that make your builds even stronger. One player undertook 2,400 boss runs and documented the drops of ancestral items – his conclusion was quite sobering.

At the “Midwinter Protection” statue in Kyovashad you have the chance to get really strong loot for your builds and will also be provided with a bunch of mats and gold.

Additionally, the Mother’s Blessing event in Diablo 4 will take place during the first week of the Midwinter event. The event gives you a big bonus to experience points and gold, which makes the grind even more worthwhile at the time. All players can secure the bonuses on the seasonal and eternal realms at all difficulty levels.

In addition, all players on Battle.net have the chance to try out the Spiritborn for a short period of time – even if you don’t own the “Vessel of Hatred” expansion.
