The National Seismological Center reported that after the earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan yesterday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 occurred in the city of Feyzabad. According to the data shared by the US Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake that took place was 220 kilometers deep. The epicenter was determined to be 48 kilometers southwest of the village of Jurm in Badakhshan province.
1000 DEAD 1500 INJURED
In the earthquake that occurred yesterday in the Paktika province of the country, 1000 people lost their lives and 1500 people were injured. Authorities reported that the Giyan district of Paktika province and Spirey district of Khost province were most affected by the earthquake.

The US Geological Survey announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 6.1. But later updated it to 5.9. It was announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was 46 kilometers southwest of Khost province in eastern Afghanistan, on the border with Pakistan.
