Ukraine has received less than a third of the one million artillery shells that the EU previously promised to deliver, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
The EU’s promise came last year, but in January the Union admitted that it would only be able to deliver half of the million promised in March.
– Of the million artillery shells that the EU promised us, 50 percent did not arrive, but 30 percent, unfortunately, says Zelenskyj at a press conference.
Ukraine has previously warned that the country is facing a “critical” shortage of artillery shells.
