    Charcuterie popular with children and adults alike, white ham is widely consumed in France. However, due to a risk of contamination with Listeria, a particular model of cooked ham is the subject of a massive recall, which concerns the whole of France.

    Cooked charcuterie, white ham is widely consumed, especially during this winter period, with raclettes. Be careful, therefore, if you have this white ham in your fridge, you should not eat it.

    The white ham concerned is a ham sold in a 720 gram tray, from the Metro Chef brand, entitled “rindless cooked superior ham, defatted“. It was sold throughout France at the beginning of the month, between December 3 and 14, 2022.

    • Barcode 343949630294;
    • Use-by date (DLC) set at December 31, 2022;
    • Lot number 1127955, 1128085 or 1128259.

    Being at risk of transmitting listeriosis because it is potentially contaminated with Listeria bacteria, this ham should not be consumed. Indeed, this pathology is risky for the most fragile people, such as pregnant women, the elderly and immunocompromised people,
