    The Béghin Say brand recalls several types of sugar because of the presence of a potentially dangerous pesticide.

    Several batches of the Béghin Say brand sold in supermarkets are being recalled. In question, a content of ethylene oxide, a pesticide used in the food industry and classified as carcinogenic, which turns out to be present at a level higher than the legislation. The types of products concerned are: the “Special Jams” white sugar, the “Special Jams with cane blond” and the “Special Jellies”.
